Perfect location!!
Sally - 13th November 2021Sadly lockdowns delayed our stay but when we finally got there we had a wonderful time and will definitely be back. The space in this house is perfect for one two families travelling together, and is literally a stones throw from the beach. The only things preventing it from 5 stars was - the cleanliness wasn’t great. It was like we were the first family in it for several months, which with covid lockdowns I can understand. But it really needed a really good dust or clean before letting paying guests stay. The floors were dirty, toilets showers and bathrooms could have done with a once over, especially being one of the more expensive houses in the area. Thankfully the agent sent someone round on day one which was very appreciated. It sadly rained while we were there. The house had a washing machine and dryer, but no clothes horse!!! Not all things can be tumble dried! So we were hanging things around the house on hangers as there was no where else whilst raining. I think a clothes horse is a must for all holiday lets! The bunk beds were very wobbly, borderline dangerous! We put a mattress on the floor for our daughter just to be on the safe side. Lots of daddy long legs, cobwebs and cockroaches! Really could do with a yearly pest spray I’d say. But despite all this, we would definitely return. We really loved our stay and thoroughly enjoyed the amazing record collection! Great way to spend our evenings.
